“RET” is a modest dance performance based on the history of the development of the village Rheden.
The village of Rheden arose in a period from the 9th century on a swampy place with a lot of reeds. Then called 'ret'. The name Rheden has its origin here and means "residence by the reeds".
Dance maker Saraja de Jonge has processed the elements of reed and water and the connection of people with this environment into a delicate dance.
